What are Stikfas Anyways?
by Jeana Byrd

Jean painting StikfasIf you are sitting there wondering what a Stikfas is then join the many nerds in your shoes that have yet to discover this amazing niche toy. So join me a journey through Stikdom and discover where they came from, what they are, the many things you can do with them and also delve into the mind of it's creator, BanYJ, through an exclusive interview.

Stikfas began as a brief concept inside founder BanYJ's sketch book. As many of us, he grew up with action figures such as G.I.Joe and longed for an action figure that could move. With a child's heart for play he created Stikfas and thanks to a co-branding deal with Electronic Arts they soon began flying off the shelves. And thus began a new revolution in toys.

Standing just 3 inches tall, a Stikfas is a fully articulated action figure. Their many points of articulation is what makes them so unique. A Stikfas moves in a way that we would move and this also makes for endless posing possibilities.

There are a wide variety of kits  such as a pirate, a safari girl & even a dragon and contained within each kit are stickers to place on your figure once you've assembled it.  Along with this Stikfas come in male or female. The kits come unassembled and are completely interchangeable with other Stikfas bit which make them very unique and lend to their likability.

Many Stikfans have found enjoyment in collecting & assembling them for display. The variety of kits available lends to their collectibility and appeal. Still others have found them great for their ease of customizing. Some choose to piece them together and along with some paint & green stuff create something masterful. Surf the web and you will find highly entertaining web comics and amazing stop anime films using Stikfas.  The only limit to what you can do with your Stikfas is your imagination.

In writing this article I was given the wonderful opportunity to delve into Stikfas creator, BanYJ, mind and ask him a few questions. So read on to find out more about the creation of Stikfas, where they've been and where their going.
