We are at the start of the second week of National Novel Writers Month, a month long event that promotes novel writing (or more correctly the written word) and a common shared goal of hitting 50000 words in thirty days. For the last two year I took part in this event, winning by hitting 50K+ words and out of this event the first two Tether Saga novels were born; this year I’m finding demands on my time means I cannot participate in NaNoWriMo like before. Today around 12.28pm I hit my National Novel Writing Month target word count of 50K – The actually count is 50368. Now its time to start running towards my secondary goal which is completing The Tether: Accept One by November 30… Now lets see if I can do it…
It is National Novel Writing Month, and just like year I am taking part. For the next 30 days I will be building my next novel one word at a time until I hit 50K. You can keep track of my numbers by viewing the growing word counter, which will be located on my website side bar, it looks a little like this.
Tonight, I took part in my first NaNoWriMo Write in at the White Marsh Barnes and Noble, it was a lot of fun being able to put faces to names, and I’m looking forward to the next write in this Sunday. See you all there…
