The Awakenings Act Two Kickstarter is still active and with nine days left and only 31% funded at the time of typing this we still need backers to help us over the finishing line. This is a comic book adventure about Teddy Bears v Monsters written by Nick Davis and drawn by Veronica Smith, and after the jump we have a huge SIX page preview for you!
Great News, our Bone Cancer Donation Appeal #forNathaniel has reached the ears of the Dundalk Eagle and they reported the story on page nine of the newspaper. Thank you! Every nugget of publicity we can get can only help bring more sales of A Teddy Bear Tale, and in-turn bring more money to aid Children’s Bone Cancer Research. You can read the full story after the jump.
As years go, 2017, wasn’t a huge art productive year, in total I created over 88 individual pieces, most of them shown in the Gallery after the jump. Not everything is show, I did create a couple of comic book sketch covers, but I don’t have a digital record of them. 2017 marks another evolution in my drawing style as I finally get comfortable drawing my Teddy Bear Heroes in a style that works, and adds the dynamic action I was looking for. So, although my production of art was down this year, my style has grown significantly.
Hello, and welcome to another installment of Drawing Outside Your Comfortzone, today I am going to talk about redirecting your ability. What do I mean about this… Well, join me after the jump and I will discuss it below.
Welcome to the last ‘Drawing Outside Your Comfortzone’ for 2016, the series of posts that exist to prod you into just drawing!
Now, I have never once pretended to be a good artist, through trial and error, and a lot of practice I’ve managed to make a few things work – with only a few more hours left in 2016 and it is time to take a look at the art I have drawn, sketched, and attempted over 2016.
Warning… Art of sorts ahead!!!
