The 2017 Art Of Alt World Studios

The Teddyverse Pantheon is now in full effect - Mr. Button, Artie, Hero Ted, Jessie, Red, Hue, Bluey, Cuddly Cthulhu, Wunder Bunny, Tristan, Jet, Fernando, Archer, Wilma, Duo, Dhoort, Crazy, Forrest & Scout and Horace, with Roboted in the background.As years go, 2017, wasn’t a huge art productive year, in total I created over 88 individual pieces, most of them shown in the Gallery after the jump. Not everything is show, I did create a couple of comic book sketch covers, but I don’t have a digital record of them. 2017 marks another evolution in my drawing style as I finally get comfortable drawing my Teddy Bear Heroes in a style that works, and adds the dynamic action I was looking for. So, although my production of art was down this year, my style has grown significantly.

Welcome to a new installment of ‘Drawing Outside Your Comfortzone’ over the last couple of years I have taken you all on a journey with me, as I attempt to evolve and improve my drawing style by tackling subjects, or ideas outside my normal comfortzone. The results have been mixed, but with each jump my skills have got a little sharper and I learned a new technique, or incorporated part of a drawing style. Well, in this installment I start the journey towards, putting away paper, pen and inktense pencils and look towards turning to Digital Art.
