Let’s open this review by saying I know nothing about Alpha Flight; beyond them being Canada’s premier super hero team, and they were all killed during during the reboot of the Avengers. So I went in with no preconceived notions or expectations.

I actually enjoyed this book, out of all the Marvel .1 intuitive books this one actually did the job it was supposed to do. It introduced the team, who they were, what Alpha Flight is; and then gave us a great little super team adventure that wrapped up on one book. Very well done…

The artwork is nice, the panel pacing good and although I wanted to learn a little more about the back story of Alpha Flight the story was a fun super team romp. I don’t really have anything bad to say about this book it hit all the right buttons that a introductory book should, and I might just be adding Alpha Flight to my box at Chucks Comics.

Fun super hero romp.

4 thumbs up out of 5
